Fried Green Tomatoes

Castles16 took me on my first letterboxing trip and it was so much fun! We went to Juliette, the town where they filmed the movie. It is now a tiny little tourist attraction but still a cute place to visit.
We had dinner at the Whistle Stop café. We tried the BBQ sandwich and fried green tomatoes. Yummy!


After dinner we went to see the bbq pits where the food was cooked in the movie. It was big and I especially liked this tombstone:

Doggone It

Georgia

I’m here; I arrived in Georgia today all safe and sound. I had a fun trip through the USPS, they were very careful with me. I wasn’t scared at all.

My host, castles16, just loves me! Hehehe. She thinks I’m adorable.

Guess what?!? I had a lot of firsts today. I had my first exchange today with castles16. I figured out her Personal Traveler question and got that stamp too. Then we opened up a Postal LetterBox and my mommy’s “Black Cat” from the Halloween SD Ring was my first PLB. How cool is that? And we got another one too. So that makes 4 stamps already. And we are going to try to solve a virtual letterbox or two before we go to bed.

I can’t wait to go out letterboxing on the trails. We are going to try to go tomorrow, if it isn’t too hot and doesn’t rain. We are trying to figure out a mystery box series of 5 whole boxes. I hope we can determine the starting location.

I miss my mommy but I think I’m gonna have fun here. I’ll write often to let my mommy know what we’re doing, and to let her know that I’m ok. I’ll be sending pictures soon too.

Hi, my name is Fluffy!

I am a white Maltipoo puppy. I am also a little girl. My mommy and daddy, Animal Crackers, adopted me on August 6, 2007. We live in Oregon.

My name is special! I was named after a dog my daddy loved when he was a little boy.

I like to eat, sleep, go for walks, and play ball. I also like to play in the water in my wading pool during the summer.

As a family, we go letterboxing often. Soon, I will be visiting a letterboxer in Georgia named castles16. I am a little bit scared, but I am also very excited. My mommy and daddy told me that everything will be OK!
